Lot 207 Browning Superposed 'Grade I' 12 GA #25376S4

Belgium made box-lock over/under shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 gauge shells, manufactured circa 1965 and Imported by Browning Arms Company out of St, Louis, MO. & Montreal P.Q. Featuring a blued finish, 28" vent rib barrels, barrels marked for Full / Mod and confirmed with drop-in gauge, smooth curved gold-toned single trigger, brass bead front sight, and a sliding tang safety/barrel selector. The receiver displays limited coverage of floral and scroll engravings on all sides extending to the trigger guard, top lever, and topping it off with edge designs. The highly figured walnut furniture consists of a round knob gripped shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, checkered forearm, deeley latch release with a sliding forend, 14" length-of-pull, and a black plastic Browning buttplate. The original blued finish retained is approximately 94% with superficial scratches on the receiver and barrel, thinning on the grip area of the trigger guard, and minor edge wear on the muzzles and trigger guard. The gold finish on the trigger is thinning on its face. Furniture wood looks good with some very minor scattered scratches and handling marks, handling marks and losses on the bottom/rear of the buttstock, and the finish is showing crazing. Bores are bright and shiny, and the action is smooth and crisp.
